July 16th, 2019, Neuralink unveiled a live launch event, which took the world by storm.
With Elon Musk at the helm, teamed up with a group of brilliant scientists, doctors, and engineers, their hope, essentially, is to establish a neural pathway interface between the human brain, and hardware devices.
Although there are other promising applications for Neuralink, the original intent was to establish a foundation for human beings to better interface with AI (artificial intelligence) in hopes of mitigating any potential hostility toward human beings & AI. Sounds like science fiction, huh? (something about skynet & terminator comes to mind).
The fact of the matter is that those who are paying attention to the advancements in AI, and what that means for automation, healthcare advancements, and more, the announcement of Neuralink is a welcome surprise, as it gives human beings an opportunity to avoid becoming obsolete.
